The Monsoon International Cube Championship 2026 is a premier online cubing event designed for speedcubers of all skill levels.
We bring the high-energy atmosphere of an offline Rubik’s cube championship directly to your home.
Every solve is judged live, one-on-one, ensuring a fair, professional, and incredibly exciting competition environment. Get ready to experience world-class speedcubing, track your progress, and make unforgettable cubing memories.
DATES & TIMINGS
- Event Dates: Saturday, 1st August & Sunday, 2nd August 2026 IST
- Flexible Timings: No need to wake up at odd hours! When you register, you can select your own preferred 1-hour time slot to complete your solves.
- Registration Deadline: Registration officially closes on 30th July 2026. Be sure to secure your spot before slots fill up!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE ONLINE
You don’t need to travel to join this global race! This Rubik’s cube championship takes place entirely online.
All you need is a stable internet connection, a laptop with a webcam, so our live judges can see your hands and cube clearly, and your favorite cubes.
Once registered, you will receive simple instructions on how to join your live, one-on-one judging room during your chosen time slot.

We have a massive lineup of 11 diverse events to challenge your speed, dexterity, and mental focus. From classic speedcubing to specialized challenges, there is something for everyone:

- One-Handed (OH) Challenges: 3×3 OH, 2×2 OH, Pyraminx OH (push your limits with single-handed solves!)

- Special Event – 3×3 Fastest Scrambler: Think you can scramble a cube to match a specific pattern faster than anyone else? This high-speed, fan-favorite event is your chance to shine.

AGE GROUPS & TROPHIES
To keep the playing field fair and encouraging for everyone, participants are divided into four distinct age categories. Whether you are a young rising star or an experienced adult cuber, you will be competing against peers in your own bracket:
- Age Brackets:
- 0 to 7 years
- 8 to 12 years
- 13 to 17 years
- 18+ years (Adults & Seniors)

We believe hard work deserves massive recognition. We are awarding a spectacular total of 205 physical trophies:
- Individual Events: Trophies for the Top 5 finishers in every individual event across every age group.

Never competed before? Don’t worry! This online cubing event is the perfect starting point. There is no judgment here—only encouragement.
Our friendly, patient live judges are excellent with first-timers and will guide you step-by-step through the process. Competing from home means no stage fright, no large crowds, and a comfortable, familiar environment to set your very first official competition times.

FAQ
Q: How does the live judging work?
A: You will log into a secure video call link at your selected time slot. A dedicated live judge will display the scramble patterns on-screen, watch you scramble, and time your solves live.
Q: Do I need a professional speedcube to participate?
A: While a speedcube is highly recommended for a smoother turning experience, you can participate with any standard, fully functional cube that turns reasonably well as long as they use the official colors cheme. Pink and metallic cubes are not allowed.
Q: Can I register for multiple events?
A: Absolutely! You can register for as few or as many of the 11 events as you like. Just ensure you pick time slots that cover all the events you select.
Q: How do we receive our trophies if we win?
A: After the final leaderboard is compiled, we safely pack and ship your physical trophies directly to your doorstep.
Q: Can I change my time slot after registering?
A: Yes, you can modify your time slot based on availability up until registration closes on 30th July 2026. Send us a message on WhatsApp and we’ll help you out.
