What is Mid Summer Cube Competition 2024?
Join us for the Mid Summer Cube Competition 2024, a global speed-cubing challenge putting your skills to the test against cubers worldwide. This competition features nine exciting events, each requiring your quickest moves on the cubes. The top 3 podium finishers in each event within their respective age groups will receive attractive cash prizes.
The highlight event, 3×3 speed-cubing, garners significant attention, while the Pyraminx offers a beginner-friendly option. For those seeking a challenge, the One-Handed events provide the ultimate test. Which cube will you conquer? Explore the complete list of events below
Who can participate in the event?
This event has 3 age groups which are as follows:

When and where is the event taking place?

What are the Events I can participate in?
There are 9 cubing events scheduled for MSCC-2024. Here is the schedule.

What is OH?
OH stands for One-Handed. If you can solve the 3×3, 2×2 or Pyraminx in one hand while using the table as support, you can participate in this event.
You are allowed to only use one of your hands to hold and turn the layers and cannot switch hands during the solve.
Pro tip: Since OH sounds like a very hard task, usually fewer people sign up, but that means there’s a good chance you might win if you are brave enough!

Are there any Prizes?
There is a total cash prize pool of ₹32,000/- to be won!!
All participants will get an E – certificate after participation, which will be emailed. Winners will receive thier prizes sent via email/WhatsApp.
Cash Prizes for 1st , 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded for each of the 9 events in each of the 3 Age Groups.
How many attempts do you get for each event?
You get two (2) attempts for each event you participate in. We’ll use the average of the 2 solve times to compute the rankings in each event. A DNF in one solve will lead to the average being a DNF.
How many Events can you take part in?
Out of the 9 events, a cuber can participate in any number of events.
You can attempt for 1 cube or all 9 of them
